HOW TO MAKE A BEADED NECKLACE WITH A CLASP

You can create professionally made necklaces by using a crimp tool to attach a clasp. This type of necklace is simple to make because all you need to do is string on your beads.

Materials needed to make stretch bracelets include:
Beads of your choice

Flexible Beading Wire
- a popular choice is the medium weight (.018" thick) Flex Rite Flexible Beading Wire - this is a great all purpose wire that will work with most types of beads

2mm Sterling Silver Crimp Beads

Bead Board & Bead Mat, Crimp Tool, Flush Cutter, Scissors, Ruler, Bead Stoppers or small binder clips
INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use a bead board to arrange your beads in the correct order and the desired length.

2. Cut the correct amount of of cording (be sure to allow extra length for adding a clasp). Attach a bead stopper or small binder clip to the end. This will keep beads from falling off the cording as you are stringing the beads on.

3. String on beads in desired order

4. Use crimps and a crimper tool to attach the clasp and jumpring. Click here for illustrated instructions on how to use crimp beads and a crimp tool
